Judith Simcox (Crow), an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry; Danielle Yancey (Menominee/Santee), director of NACHP; Jeneile Luebke (Mashkiiziibii), assistant professor in the School of Nursing; and Lauren W. Yowelunh McLester-Davis (Oneida), scientist and director of Indigenous science advocacy for NACHP, will oversee a new center aimed at supporting Indigenous graduate students. The Center for Indigenous Research to Create Learning and Excellence (CIRCLE) is funded by a National Science Foundation Innovations in Graduate Education grant.
