Lina Martin has the unique pleasure of being the NACHP Advocate for Uplifting Native Traditions and Indigenous Engagement, or AUNTIE. She is here to help Native students feel at home and welcome. As the Native American Outreach Liaison for the UW–Madison Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) Program, she works closely with PEOPLE scholars attending UW–Madison. She loves to make sure all of her students are taking care of themselves so they can be successful here at UW–Madison.

Martin grew up in Madison. She is an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation and a descendant of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans.
