Lauren Cornelius is the Academic Program Specialist for NACHP, where she focuses on implementing support programming and aids in the recruitment and retention efforts of Native students into health professional programs at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. She is also the host of NACHP’s podcast, Medicine Talkers.

Cornelius was raised on the Oneida reservation outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and is a member of the Oneida Nation. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, with a minor in American Indian studies.
